300yd RIFLE MARKSMANSHIP COURSE
Cost:  $150.00

The purpose of this course is to provide the knowledge and skills to engage targets up to and including 300yds.  The class is open to entry level and experienced shooters.

Learning objectives are: How to use your equipment (rifle, scope and ammo) from a bench or prone position, find group and 'zero' at 100yds, and develop DOPE [data of previous engagement] at 200-300yds.  Choosing the correct ammunition. Reading and adjusting the scope.  Gathering the data to develop a firing solution.

Rifle calibers accepted are: Most, including 22 LR Rimfire. Email or call for clarification.
Ammunition count is 20 rounds net, 40 rounds recommended

The course is 2 days.
Day 1:  Generally held on a Saturday
Classroom: Internal, External, and Terminal Ballistics.  Explanation of steps to 'getting on paper' at 100yds, 'shooting for group' and 'zero' at 100yds.

Day 2:  Generally held on the following Sunday
Range: Live fire using the steps to be 'on paper' at 100yds, 'shooting for group', and 'zeroing' at 100yds. Live fire on paper targets at 200 and 300 yds to develop DOPE cards
